Demiroğlu Bilim University formerly known as Istanbul Bilim University was established as the first thematic 

university in healthcare. I am lecturing on health tourism at the Healthcare Administration program.

I have been assigned as the General Manager of the two new corporate domains of the Group Florence Nightingale Hospitals namely Florence Healthcare International and Florence Healthcare Technology targeting to become a significant and influential player in the global healthcare e-markets. Florence Healthcare International is focused on facilitating international cooperations and international patient transfers worth of $21M in 2024. 

FN-Gate is the HIS solution with ERP and accounting & finance capabilities.

· Management of international investments, offices and operations 

· Team building and leadership 

· Execution of business development in focus countries like United Kingdom, EU, Middle East, Africa, CIS, Eastern Europe and Balkans can be cited among my duties

· Implementation of latest technologies and development of the inhouse developed HIS product

· Introduction of CAR-T therapy together with an international partner.

· Establishment of the Weight Management & Metabolic Health Center.

US Consulate General Istanbul

 Post Medical Advisor    2023 – Present

US Consulate General Istanbul has a medical team which serves to American citizens and employees of the Consulate. Post Medical Advisor position is an honorary unpaid position with privileges.

· The medical team is coordinated for matters and individual cases

· Referal of patients to appropriate medical facilities and medical professionals

· Coordination of preventive measures and actions

· Coordination of the calibration of medical devices

 Deputy CEO – Operations      2018– 2023 

I have a diverse skill set and wealth of experience in various aspects of healthcare. This versatility has been quite valuable for my professional journey in healthcare industry.

· Leadership practices as a member of the top management in a healthcare organization with 4 hospitals and 3000 employees.

· Experienced in management, local and international medical marketing, international business development, supply chain, hospital operations, hospital information systems. 

· Particitation in corporate efficiency activities in order to have a sustainable top line and bottom line P/L effect. 

· Design of local and international sales’ strategies (Self Payers, Private Medical Insurances, Private Institutions and Social Security Institution, Corporate Agreements)

· Opening of international offices and sister companies

· Establishing cooperations and affiliations with international healthcare providers

· Process improvement projects for supply chain and logistics.

· Coordination of JCI accreditation surveys.

· Recruitment of new doctors and healthcare professionals.

· Digital transformation project. The source code of the hospital information system was transformed from Gupta Opentext to .Net by Fecher Germany. Furthermore the HIS has been converted into a web based version with several added functionalities including business intelligence and reporting.

· Relations with the Ministry of Health and other official authorities.

Group Florence Nightingale, being at the forefront of healthcare industry in Turkey, operates with “Centers of Excellence” for expert treatment, surgery and diagnostic capabilities across 4 hospitals and 2 medical centers, each center gaining recognition in its specialization in Turkey and throughout the region.

· Signed off as Director for Operations (2009), promoted to Chief Operating Officer (2010) and soon after to Deputy CEO in charge of all hospital operations (2018). 

· Coordination of the reporting departments for efficiency and excellence which consist of Project management, patient services, IT, facility management, VIP services, conventional and digital marketing, press and public relations, contact center, international business development, logistics of supply chain, archives, and biomedical.

· Establishment of a state-of-the-art cGMP facility with cord blood and tissue bank and creation of “Florencell” brand.

· Acted as the Head of the Family Medicine Department as well as the Deputy Medical Director of the university training and research hospital namely European Florence Nightingale Hospital

Signed off as Deputy Chief Physician (1997) responsible for bureaucratic processes and projects in IT.
